How it all began

With over 20 years of experience in wireless technologies, our team has been delivering adaptive, QoS-driven networking solutions for decades. The Better Than Wired story began with our participation in the DARPA (U.S. Department of Defense) Second Spectrum Collaboration Challenge, where coexistence with other wireless technologies and QoS aware networking were the goal.

Reaching the DARPA finals inspired us to take the knowledge and experience from the contest and turn it into a highly reliable, adaptive, and dynamic spectrum-sharing solution for industry. That’s how the Better Than Wired team was born — and for the past five years, we’ve been perfecting our innovative product.

Today, we’re ready to share our MVP with the industry for testing and feedback, paving the way for mass production.

Our Vision

Our mission is to prove to the world that wireless communications can indeed provide wired-like QoS characteristics, enabling their use in applications where today none is daring to employ them;

Eventually moving in and replacing wired solutions in applications where capacity is not the focus;

Industrial control is a perfect match for such a communications system, therefore our long-term goal is to change the form and structure of any industrial site, making the jump from wired to wireless communications and enabling the vision of swarm manufacturing.
